Located in the familial home of Nicolas Rolin, chancellor of the Duke of Burgundy, it houses rich collections of art dating from antiquity through the 20th century.
Of special note are the remarkable Gallo-Roman mosaics, the 12th century sculptures from the chisels of Giselbertus (Eve) and the monk Martin (tomb of Saint-Lazare) and the “Nativity” of Maître de Moulins that accompanies the 15th century sculptures commissioned by the Rolins (The Virgin of Autun).
Open all year except Tuesdays and holidays.
